Reflections on the mind

Reflections

Quiet observations of thought, becoming, and the stillness already present in life.

The mind keeps imagining the next version of life.

The version where everything finally feels settled.

Yet each time the future arrives, it quietly becomes the present.

Many thoughts are not solutions.

They are rehearsals for problems that have not happened.

The effort to complete life often creates the feeling that life is incomplete.

Becoming is the noise.

What the mind tries to hold still often becomes heavier through holding.

Much of thinking is an attempt to secure a future that cannot be secured.

The search creates the distance.

The mind looks for the moment when everything will finally feel complete.

Yet each moment quietly arrives already complete.

Nothing was missing.
